Upon receiving a grant of $13,280 from the Volunteer Strategic Assistance and Fire Equipment (V-Safe), the Blackville Fire Department was able to purchase new bunker gear for firefighters. They also purchased new pagers and radios for better communication when responding to and emergencies and while on scene.
