Danielle Edwards of Williston and Jake Harrelson of Greenville were united in marriage on May 18, 2024 at Lakemont Chapel in Cleveland, S.C. The Rev. Seth Seidner officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Thomas Edwards.
The bride’s dress was a timeless white gown paired with a cathedral veil lined with the lace of her mother’s wedding dress.
The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and white carnations with various pink and orange filler flowers.
Sarah Hanson served as maid of honor. They met at Asbury Hills Summer Camp.
Meghan Carter, cousin, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jamie Shelley (worked together at Garden City Chapel), Kirsten Jolly (college roommate), Keira Zerrenner (college roommate), Katarina Garland (Big Sister in college sorority, Sigma Alpha Omega), Emily Rimes (childhood best friend from Williston), Sydney Brashier (Little Sister in college sorority, Sigma Alpha Omega), and Callie Harrelson (groom’s sister).
Ellie Smerdon served as flower girl.
Charlie Pasquale served as ring bearer.
Jeff Harrelson (groom’s father) was best man.
Groomsmen were Zack Harrelson (groom’s brother), Joe Lady (college friend), Parker Tollison (cousin), Jacob Taylor (childhood friend and college roommate), Jackson Shelley (high school best friend), Tanner Mesaric (middle school friend), David Edwards (bride’s brother), and Jason Edwards (bride’s brother).
Following the wedding a reception was held at Lakemont Clubhouse.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Deborah Edwards of Williston. She’s the granddaughter of Charles and Joye Bodie of Ward and Tommy and Anna Lee Edwards of Elloree.
She is a 2023 graduate of Clemson University and is employed by Anderson School District 1, teaching 2nd grade at Wren Elementary School.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Kara Harrelson of Greenville. He is the grandson of John and Barbara Block of Greenville and George and Patsy Harrelson of Taylors.
He is a 2024 graduate of Clemson University and is employed by W. Clint Rigsby Landscape Architecture.
Following a wedding trip to Chicago, Illinois, the couple will reside in Pelzer.
